IT'S TIME TO REVOLUTIONIZE HOW WE PREPARE FOR AND RECOVER FROM GIVING BIRTH

Because YES - you CAN give birth, and heal postpartum, in a way that feels empowering, nourishing, and even liberating.

No matter what your medical history is.

No matter how your previous births went, or how long ago your baby was born.

You CAN take the lead in your birthing experience in a way that takes beautiful care of yourself and your baby,
and that brings a new life into this world in a way that safely and kindly looks after you both.

AFTER WORKING WITH ME, KRISTEN BIRTHED HER RAINBOW BABY (UNMEDICATED)
AFTER MULTIPLE MISCARRIAGES AND A HIGH RISK PREGNANCY

“Working with Maggie during my high risk pregnancy was absolutely something I could not have gone without.

Maggie provided me with invaluable support, breath/core work for foundational pelvic floor support (pre and postpartum), visualizations and guidance that enabled me to begin to connect to myself and my baby in a safe and much needed way.

Together we created a positive narrative for my body and ultimately my ideal labor/delivery so that I could meet my baby with love and presence rather than doubt or fear. When the day came to deliver our little girl everything Maggie taught me came flooding in and made ALL THE DIFFERENCE in how I navigated the experience with my midwives and own body.

I am so grateful to have had Maggie’s support and knowledge during my pregnancy and delivery experience, because she taught me that having an informed and empowered birth IS possible.
I would absolutely recommend that pregnant mamas seek Maggie out to safely guide them during their pregnancy.”

Hi, I’m Maggie Yount

According to my official title, I’m a Certified Personal Trainer, and a Fit For Birth Pre & Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist and Diastasis and Core Consultant.

But what I really do is work with you exactly where you are in your birthing journey, whether you’re in the first stages of morning sickness or your youngest child is all grown up and heading to college.

I know that giving birth leaves a legacy in our bodies that can be challenging. I also know that the right preparation in advance of having your baby can enable you to experience your birth as nurturing and even healing.

I’m here to help you figure out what it is you need and want for yourself, and provide you with the expert guidance and warm support necessary to achieve that.

My approach, the Holistic Birthing Framework ™, uses a threefold approach to take care of all birthing people and their babies from the first stages of pregnancy through postpartum.

Together, we’ll focus on:
MOVEMENT
•MINDFULNESS
•NUTRITION

By using all three pillars of the Holistic Birthing Framework™, we’ll empower you to take charge of your health in a way that positively impacts your pregnancy and postpartum experience, while also setting you up for lifelong wellness.

WHO AM I TO TEACH YOU THIS?

Aside from my qualifications as a personal trainer who specializes in pre- and postnatal wellness, and my experiences birthing two baby boys (one vaginal, one C-section), I know a thing or two about healing.

When I was 23, I began a seven-year-long journey of recovery after suffering a severe traumatic brain injury and 14 broken bones in a collision with a drunk driver. What I learned in those years taught me that no matter how helpless or broken our bodies might feel, we CAN heal ourselves and feel powerful again.

Maggie’s Personal Birth Stories

I have birthed two babies in the hospital.
One completely unmedicated vaginal birth (that was almost at home!)
and my youngest with an unexpected, non-emergency but necessary belly-birth.
